20 Beautiful Photographic Locations in England:
While our list is by no means comprehensive — there are numerous more sites and settings where you may grab a terrific selfie or memorable holiday shot — we're convinced that it will ensure you catch the best of the best.
York, North Yorkshire
York, North Yorkshire's cathedral city, offers a plethora of excellent photo options. The towering York Minster, one of Europe's greatest ancient churches (particularly beautiful as the sun sets), and the Shambles, a labyrinth of laneways and alleyways noted for their old homes and businesses, are two of the city's highlights.
Make a point of seeing the city's spectacular historic walls, which are still standing and interesting to explore on foot. after clicking your photos you want to make them more attractive please visit professioanl photo editing services.
National Park of Yorkshire Dales
Yorkshire Dales National Park, an easy hour's drive east of York, is the archetypal English countryside.
This stretch of terrain, with its combination of windswept moors, lush green valleys, rolling hills, and small little villages, inspires photographers today in the same way that it previously inspired the country's best poets.
Windermere - a lake in the Lake District
The panoramas across Lake Windermere have been drawing painters, authors, and visitors for decades, and are considered one of England's most magnificent sights.
Head to any of the several paths that round this lovely body of water during sunrise or sunset, and snap away.
London
Despite its massive size and frequent crowds of tourists, finding a peaceful area to shoot London's most famous monuments is surprisingly easy.
For example, this shot of Tower Bridge was taken from Butler Wharf on the Thames's south bank, an area of restored historic warehouses and a waterfront with many fantastic views of the city. IF you want to make your photos more attractive please visit professioanl photo editing services.
The Cotswolds' Bibury
The Cotswolds are another excellent location for photographing traditional English landscapes. Bibury in Gloucestershire, as shown above, is a joy to explore and makes for a great weekend getaway.
They also provide a look into what traditional rural life must have been like in the past and frequently is today.
Oxford, Oxfordshire
The picturesque city of Oxford, which has been known as a center of study since medieval times, is simple to explore on foot.
Simply roam with your camera (or phone) in hand, and you'll come across picture-perfect landscapes like this one of the famed Hertford Bridge, often known as "the Bridge of Sighs".
Cornwall's St. Michael's Mount
Cornwall, England's westernmost county, is home to a plethora of breathtaking views.
The amazing St. Michael's Mount (population: 35), a little island reachable from the mainland through an old stone cart route at low tide, is a favorite.
Cornwall's Land's End
Land's End, England's most westerly point, is only 30 minutes west of St. Michael's Mount.
The water has shaped the rough shoreline into a great feast of picture opportunities, particularly near the famed Enys Dodnan Arch and Armed Knight rock formations.
East Sussex's Seven Sisters Country Park
In and around the charming beach town of Eastbourne in East Sussex, you can enjoy some of the greatest views of the English Channel.
Seven Sisters Country Park, famed for its (you guessed it) seven white cliffs and stunning coastline panoramas, is easily accessible from here.
Dorset's Corfe Castle
In the lovely ancient town of Corfe Castle, one of England's most dramatic — and picturesque — landscapes may be seen.
This renowned tourist destination, named for the 9th-century castle that overlooks the settlement, also offers great views of the surrounding Dorset countryside.
Durham - a town in the county of Durham
Durham, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to a great number of historic structures that are protected by the city's classification.
After touring the ancient medieval city center, stroll down to the River Wear's banks and snap a picture of the iconic Framwellgate Bridge. It's really stunning, especially with the castle and church rising behind you.
National Park of the Peak District
The Peak District, located just outside of Manchester's industrial city limits, is a region of great natural beauty.
The location, which is now a national park, is all too often disregarded by visitors. This is a shame because this easily accessible location offers a plethora of photographic chances, such as this beautiful dawn above Mam Tor.
Shaftesbury - a town in the county of Dorset, England
Stonehenge, England's oldest cultural monument, has been a tourist attraction since it was built more than 5,000 years ago.
While getting too near to these gigantic rocks is no longer possible, getting close enough to snap a stunning shot is.
Bath, Somerset
Bath's Royal Crescent is another well-known English street. While the history of this lovely city in Somerset dates back to the Roman era, it is the city's surprisingly well-preserved Georgian architecture that most appeals to the eye.
Spend some time taking in the sights of Bath and snapping some wonderful photos.
Dover, Kent
Dover is noted for its castle as well as its spectacular white cliffs, which can be seen from as far away as France on a clear day.
Follow any of the many pathways that run through the surrounding fields for the greatest views of Dover Castle, or contact someone with a tour boat.
Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Cambridge, England's other bastion of higher learning, is well worth a visit. There are many wonderful photo opportunities here, with Clare Bridge being one of the best.
Visitors are "punted" along the River Cam, as shown in this shot.
Bournemouth, Dorset
Beautiful Bournemouth in Dorset is often considered as England's poshest coastal town, with plenty of entertaining things to do.
Early risers will catch a sight (and a snap) of Bournemouth Pier at daybreak, then take a quiet stroll down the beach before the tourists come. If you have old photos of these places and want to make them restore please visit our photo retouching services
Northumberland's Bamburgh Beach and Castle
Check out this stunning shot of Bamburgh Beach in Northumberland, while we're on the subject of English beaches.
The inclusion of the 7th-century Bamburgh Castle, as you'll no doubt agree, is what makes this shot so magnificent.
The Isle of Wight - a British island off the coast of England
The Isle of Wight is a short ferry ride from Southampton and provides a variety of picture opportunities. The iconic Needles on the west side of the island are our favorite location for photoshoots.
These chalk stacks, which rise 30 meters above sea level, protrude dramatically from the English Channel. It's even more spectacular at sunset when the white chalk absorbs the shifting night sky's yellow-orange colors.
Bath's Pulteney Bridge
Bath is such a lovely and picturesque city that it deserves to be mentioned again. Next to Pulteney Bridge is one of the greatest settings for a shot. It was built in 1774 and crosses the Avon River, serving as a setting for a number of historical plays, notably the latest film adaptation of Les Misérables.
If time allows, go down the Avon's walkway for another nice perspective of the bridge, this time in the distance, with magnificent Georgian-era architecture in the front.
